The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ paper disc roll 732U measures 5" in diameter by NH and features 180 grit ceramic alumina oxide with 3M precision shaped ceramic grain technology. This triangular-shaped ceramic mineral cuts through substrates by slicing rather than gouging, enabling the disc to cut up to twice as fast and last up to four times longer than conventional abrasives. The disc has a C-weight paper backing suitable for applications where edge retention is not critical and is designed primarily for stock removal on a variety of substrates including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The Stikit™ system includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back, allowing quick and easy attachment to a Stikit backup pad (sold separately) compatible with disc sanders, random orbital sanders, or stationary disc sanders. These discs are recommended for use with 3M™ Elite random orbital sanders and are ideal for AOEM finish preparation, defect repair and leveling, finishing, orbital sanding, and paint or lacquer sanding for cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, and furniture industries.
