The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ Paper Disc 732U is a 5" diameter, NH 80 grit abrasive featuring 3M precision shaped ceramic aluminum oxide grain designed to cut up to twice as fast and last up to four times longer than conventional abrasives. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral slices through substrates like metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood rather than gouging, making it highly effective for stock removal. The disc uses a C-weight paper backing suited for sanding tasks where edge retention is not critical. It employs the 3M™ Stikit™ pressure sensitive adhesive system on the backside, allowing easy attachment and removal from a Stikit™ backup pad (sold separately) compatible with disc sanders, random orbital sanders, or stationary disc sanders. Recommended for blending, finishing, orbital sanding, metal prep before painting, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, metal fabrication, and wood and panel processing, this product is engineered for professional applications.
