The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Clean Sanding Paper Disc 732U is a 5" disc with an 80 grit, featuring 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, which enables it to cut through materials efficiently without gouging, resulting in a performance that is up to 2x faster and lasting up to 4x longer than conventional abrasives. These discs are suitable for stock removal applications across a variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The C-weight paper backing makes it ideal for sanding tasks where edge retention is not crucial. Designed for use with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders, the hook-and-loop style allows for easy attachment to a backup disc pad and enables clean removal for reuse throughout the abrasive life. The proprietary multi-hole pattern enhances dust evacuation compared to traditional 5- or 6-hole systems, and the open coat construction reduces clogging by providing space between abrasive grains. Additionally, the load-resistant coating helps maintain cutting performance.
