The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Clean Sanding Film Disc 775L measures 6 inches in diameter with a NH (normal hook) attachment and features 150 grit aluminum. It incorporates 3M precision shaped triangular ceramic grain designed to slice through substrates rather than gouging, enabling the disc to cut up to twice as fast and last up to six times longer than conventional abrasives. This sanding film disc is suited for stock removal applications on various materials including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing provides superior tear resistance and edge retention compared to paper discs, enhancing durability. Compatible with 3M™ Elite random orbital sanders, these hook-and-loop discs attach securely to a backup disc pad (sold separately), facilitating quick, clean removal and multiple reuses throughout their abrasive life. The proprietary multi-hole pattern on these clean sanding discs evacuates dust more efficiently than 5- or 6-hole designs without the need to align holes with the sanding pad, making disc changes easier. The open coat abrasive grain spacing helps prevent clogging by promoting dust evacuation, while the load-resistant coating extends disc life by minimizing loading.
