The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ clean sanding film disc 775L 6" x NH 180 grit aluminum features 3M precision shaped ceramic grain with a triangular shaped ceramic mineral designed to slice through substrates, cutting up to 2x faster and lasting up to 6x longer than conventional abrasives. It is ideal for stock removal on a wide variety of materials including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, enhancing durability and edge retention. These 6-inch diameter discs are compatible with 3M™ Elite random orbital sanders and attach via a hook-and-loop system to backup disc pads (sold separately), allowing for clean removal and multiple reuses throughout the abrasive life. The proprietary multi-hole pattern facilitates higher dust evacuation rates without requiring hole alignment with the disc pad, simplifying disc changes. Open coat construction spaces abrasive grains for efficient dust evacuation and reduced clogging, while the load-resistant coating helps maintain cutting performance.
