The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ clean sanding film disc 775L measures 6 inches in diameter with NH (No Hole) and features 220 grit aluminum oxide. It incorporates 3M precision shaped ceramic grain with a triangular shaped ceramic mineral designed to slice through substrates, cutting up to twice as fast and lasting up to six times longer than conventional abrasives. Ideal for stock removal across various substrates such as metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood, the film backing provides greater tear resistance and durability compared to paper discs, enhancing edge retention. These discs are intended for use with 3M™ Elite random orbital sanders and utilize a hook-and-loop attachment system to connect to a backup disc pad (sold separately), allowing for clean and easy removal and reuse throughout the abrasive life. The disc employs a proprietary multi-hole dust evacuation pattern that does not require hole alignment with the backup pad, simplifying changes and improving dust removal efficiency compared to 5- or 6-hole designs. Its open coat abrasive structure spaces grains to reduce clogging, and the load-resistant coating further prevents loading on the cutting surface.
