The 3M™ Hookit™ Gold Film Disc 255L 6" x NH P80 Grit Aluminum Oxide features aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a film backing designed for a fast cut rate and a uniform, close-tolerance finish on wood, paint preparation, and defect repair applications. The disc is constructed of durable aluminum oxide, suitable for most wood species, and incorporates an open coat for a more aggressive cut compared to closed coat abrasives of the same grade. It includes a special loading resistant coating to reduce clogging issues. The flexible film backing offers consistent finishing results and greater tear resistance than comparable paper products, making it ideal for high-production environments. This product is well-suited for applications such as AOEM finish preparation and repair, finishing, orbital sanding, paint and lacquer sanding, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, metal fabrication, as well as primary wood and panel processing within industries like cabinetry, custom woodworking and millwork, furniture, and metal fabrication. The package includes the 6-inch diameter disc with NH (non-hole) attachment, P80 grit rating, and complies with industry standards for efficient abrasive performance.
