The 3M™ Hookit™ Film Disc 360L 6" x NH P320 grit features an aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a film backing designed for fine sanding on plastics, gel coats, and polyurethane solid surface substrates. The durable film backing provides high resistance to edge tearing and is suitable for high-production environments, offering longer life than standard A-weight paper backings. It delivers a close-tolerance, consistent finish ideal for spot repairs, sanding plastic parts, paint feathering on defects, and sanding automotive primer. The open coat construction reduces loading without a load-resistant stearate coating. The disc uses 3M™ Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment for easy re-use and attaches to 3M™ Hookit™ low-profile disc pads (sold separately) on random orbital sanders. The Film Disc 360L comes in various grades for applications ranging from fine sanding to finishing. Aluminum oxide abrasive is known for its fast cut rate, hardness, and self-fracturing properties that expose fresh cutting edges, making it suitable for woodworking, metalworking, and grinding ferrous alloys.
