The 3M™ Hookit™ Film Disc 360L 6" x NH P600 grit aluminum oxide features an aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a film backing designed for fine sanding on plastics, gel coats, and polyurethane solid surface substrates. The durable film backing provides resistance to edge tearing for longer life compared to standard A-weight paper backings, offering a close-tolerance, consistent finish ideal for spot repairs, sanding plastic parts, paint feathering on defects, and sanding automotive primer. The disc includes an open coat construction to help reduce loading without a load-resistant stearate coating. It utilizes 3M™ Hookit™ hook-and-loop attachment backing for easy re-use and compatibility with the low-profile 3M™ Hookit™ disc pad (sold separately) for random orbital sanders. Available in a range of grades from fine sanding to finishing, the aluminum oxide abrasive is known for its fast cut-rate, toughness, durability, and ability to self-fracture to expose fresh cutting edges, making it suitable for woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. This product line is designed for environments where adhesive backed discs may be contaminated by dust, dirt, or debris, providing an effective solution with 3M’s Hookit™ attachment system.
