The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ light deburring wheel measures 12" x 1" x 5" with an 8s fin and features fine grade silicon carbide abrasive, a synthetic mineral known for its sharpness and suitability for low-pressure applications like paint preparation. This smoothly running, convolute-constructed wheel is designed for light deburring, polishing, and finishing, offering moderate conformability and density to maintain critical tolerances while providing a fine polished finish. Its soft construction and smooth operation reduce operator effort compared to harder wheels. The unique resin system minimizes smearing and heat build-up, while the non-woven open-web nylon or synthetic fiber construction resists loading, keeps the wheel cool, reduces the risk of part discoloration and warping, and extends wheel life. Scotch-Brite™ industrial abrasives combine abrasives with synthetic fibers for consistent performance throughout the product’s life.
