The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ film disc roll 775L measures 6 inches in diameter with NH (narrow hex) attachment and features 220 grit ceramic grain. It utilizes 3M precision shaped triangular ceramic mineral designed to slice through substrates rather than gouge, enabling the disc to cut up to two times faster and last up to six times longer than conventional abrasives. The film backing provides greater tear resistance compared to paper discs, enhancing durability and edge retention. The discs include a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside for easy attachment to Stikit backup pads, which are sold separately and must be used with disc sanders such as random orbital or stationary disc sanders. These abrasives are suitable for a wide range of applications primarily involving stock removal on metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. Typical applications include AOEM finish preparation and repair, defect repair and leveling, finishing, orbital sanding, and paint or lacquer sanding, with use in cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, and furniture industries.
