The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ Film Disc Roll 775L measures 5" in diameter, features 220 grit aluminum oxide, and incorporates 3M precision shaped ceramic grain technology with triangular shaped ceramic minerals designed to slice through substrates rather than gouge, resulting in cutting speeds up to 2 times faster and durability up to 6 times longer than conventional abrasives. This film-backed disc offers greater tear resistance than paper discs, enhancing durability and edge retention, and is suitable for a wide range of stock removal applications on metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The 3M™ Stikit™ adhesive system includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on the backside, allowing the disc to be easily attached to and removed from a Stikit backup pad (sold separately) compatible with disc sanders and random orbital sanders. Recommended for use with 3M™ Elite random orbital sanders, these discs are ideal for AOEM finish prep and repair, defect repair, leveling, finishing, orbital sanding, paint or lacquer sanding, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, and furniture industries.
