The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Surface Conditioning Disc measures 2" x NH VFN and features a non-woven fiber construction that combines durability with the 3M™ Roloc™ quick-change attachment system, enabling effective cleaning, finishing, blending, and deburring tasks. This disc is designed to conform to irregular or contoured surfaces, and its Roloc™ backing supports aggressive cutting. The open-web fiber runs cool and resists loading, while the abrasive materials provide a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. The disc can be manufactured with either silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasive minerals; silicon carbide is known for its sharpness and suitability for low-pressure applications like paint preparation, while aluminum oxide offers a longer life and high cut-rate. The 3M™ Roloc™ quick-change discs attach easily to a Roloc™ disc pad (sold separately), allowing for swift changes between jobs or during multi-step processes. Each disc is color-coded to facilitate easy identification of grades, and the attachment system provides a secure fit for heavy-duty applications.
