The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Surface Conditioning Disc TS measures 2" in diameter with a NH CRS grit and aluminum abrasive mineral. It combines a durable, non-woven fiber disc with the 3M™ Roloc™ quick-change attachment system, enabling efficient cleaning, finishing, blending, and deburring. The non-woven fiber construction conforms to irregular or contoured surfaces, while the Roloc™ backing supports aggressive cutting. The open-web fiber design resists loading and runs cool, and the abrasive minerals provide a high cut-rate for consistent finishing. The disc is available with either silicon carbide or aluminum oxide abrasives; silicon carbide is a sharp synthetic mineral suitable for low-pressure applications like paint preparation and finishing, producing a finer finish but breaking down faster than aluminum oxide, which is a hard, blocky mineral that offers high cut-rate and long life. The 3M™ Roloc™ quick change system allows for rapid disc changes onto a separate Roloc™ disc pad, supporting heavy-duty applications with secure attachment, and the discs are color-coded for easy grade identification.
