The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Cut and Polish Flap Brush measures 2" x 1" x 1/4" with a medium grit aluminum oxide abrasive. This high-performance brush serves as a versatile alternative to conventional bristle brushes and buffing compounds, providing improved consistency and greater control for metal preparation and finishing tasks such as cleaning, deburring, polishing, and aesthetic finishing. Constructed using proprietary 3M non-woven materials technology, the brush features an open web design that reduces loading and maintains effective cutting action longer, resulting in less frequent replacement compared to conventional brushes. The nonwoven combination of fiber strands, resin, and abrasive mineral forms a thick, spring-like open web that adapts to contours, removes unwanted burrs, soils, and contaminants while preserving work piece geometry, which reduces rework and increases productivity.
