This wheel features a soft construction that enables smoother operation, requiring less effort from the operator compared to harder wheels. It is particularly suited for applications needing a moderate degree of conformability and density to maintain critical tolerances while achieving a fine polished finish. A unique resin system minimizes smearing and reduces heat build-up, allowing the wheel to run cool and resist loading due to its non-woven web construction. This design reduces the risk of part discoloration and warping while extending the wheel's lifespan. The light deburring wheel is available in a fine grade abrasive made from fine grade silicon carbide, which is a synthetic mineral known for its sharpness and suitability for low-pressure applications like paint prep.
