The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ film disc 775L 6" x NH 150 grit aluminum oxide features 3M precision shaped ceramic grain, a triangular shaped ceramic mineral designed to slice through substrates rather than gouging, allowing the disc to cut up to twice as fast and last up to six times longer than conventional abrasives. This disc is suitable for a broad range of stock removal applications on various substrates such as metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. Its film backing provides greater tear resistance compared to paper discs, enhancing durability and edge retention. The discs attach to hook-and-loop backup disc pads (sold separately), allowing for clean, easy removal and multiple reuses throughout the abrasive life. These discs are ideal for use with 3M™ Elite random orbital sanders and provide finer finishes than adhesive backed discs, making them suitable for applications including AOEM finish preparation and repair, defect repair, leveling, finishing, orbital sanding, paint and lacquer sanding, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, and furniture manufacturing. The package includes the 6" diameter, NH type 150 grit aluminum oxide film disc with Hookit™ attachment and complies with relevant industry standards and safety requirements. The product comes with a warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use conditions.
