The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ EXL unitized wheel TR measures 3" in diameter with a NH finish grit silicon carbide abrasive, designed for strong and effective edge deburring and finishing in various metalworking applications and machined parts requiring close tolerances. Manufactured with compressed, non-woven fiber construction and uniform grain distribution, the EXL wheel produces consistent, professional results for weld polishing, deburring aircraft parts, and blending or finishing on metals, plastics, and composites. EXL material in higher densities delivers aggressive cutting power for effective deburring of edges and corners without damaging parts, while lower densities are soft and conformable for finishing contoured surfaces. The disc features the 3M™ Roloc™ quick release system for fast, tool-free disc changes, allowing use of both the edge and surface of the wheel without interruption of mounting hardware. Available in fine, medium, and coarse grades, the 3M™ Roloc™ quick change discs are smaller in size, designed to attach easily onto a Roloc™ disc pad (sold separately) for convenient swapping during multi-step finishing processes. The Roloc system ensures secure attachment for heavy-duty applications, with a variety of diameters and materials for different tasks. Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning products combine abrasive minerals incorporated into non-woven nylon or synthetic fibers, creating an abrasive system that delivers consistent results over the life of the product.
