The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ Film Disc 775L 5" x NH 220 grit aluminum oxide features 3M precision shaped ceramic grain with a triangular shaped ceramic mineral designed to slice through substrates, cutting up to 2x as fast and lasting up to 6x as long as conventional abrasives. These discs are suitable for a broad range of stock removal applications on metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing provides greater tear resistance and edge retention compared to paper discs. The Stikit™ system includes a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the disc's backside that enables easy attachment to and removal from a Stikit™ backup pad (disc pad), which is sold separately and must be used with a disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander. Recommended for use with 3M™ Elite random orbital sanders, these high-quality coated abrasive discs are ideal for AOEM finish preparation and repair, defect repair/leveling, finishing, orbital sanding, paint and lacquer sanding, cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, and furniture industries.
