The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ Film Disc 775L is a 5" diameter, NH style disc with 180 grit aluminum oxide abrasive based on 3M precision shaped ceramic grain technology. This triangular shaped ceramic mineral is engineered to slice through substrates rather than gouging, enabling the disc to cut up to twice as fast and last up to six times longer than conventional abrasives. The film backing provides enhanced tear resistance for greater durability and edge retention compared to paper discs. The disc comes with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside for easy attachment and removal from compatible 3M™ Stikit™ backup pads (sold separately), which must be pressed onto random orbital sanders, disc sanders, or stationary disc sanders for use. It is suitable for a broad range of stock removal applications on metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood, ideal for AOEM finish preparation and repair, defect leveling, finishing, orbital sanding, and paint or lacquer sanding. This product is commonly used in cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, and furniture industries. Warranty terms apply as per 3M specifications.
