Scotch-Brite™ finishing flap brush is constructed from sections of non-woven material slit lengthwise and bonded to a cylindrical core. This long-lasting brush provides improved consistency and greater control over a variety of critical prep and finishing tasks, including polishing and aesthetic finishing, such as brushed finishes on copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals. It features soft density along with medium, fine, and very fine abrasive grades that produce brushed surfaces without the need for compounds and offer more surface contact than bristle-type brushes. The brush continuously supplies fresh abrasives for consistent, uniform finishes and the non-woven web is load and heat resistant, enabling fine finishing results on various materials. The product achieves decorative finishes on metal, wood, and composites, making it suitable for applications such as blending, contour finishing, deburring, flat areas, flat finishing, and polishing.
