The 3M™ Trizact™ Hookit™ Film Disc 268XA is a 5" diameter, NH attachment type disc with A10 grit aluminum oxide abrasive mineral manufactured using proprietary micro-replication technology that forms micron-graded aluminum oxide particles into tiny pyramids on a film backing. This design ensures that as the pyramids wear down, fresh sharp mineral is continually exposed, resulting in a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish. Suitable for a variety of solid surfaces and topcoats, the disc features the 3M™ Hookit™ attachment system for quick and secure mounting to hook-and-loop backup pads (sold separately) compatible with rotary or random orbital tools, allowing easy removal and reuse for the life of the disc. It can be operated wet or dry and offers longer life and a finer, more consistent finish than conventional abrasives. The precise finish control helps reduce the number of grade sequences and abrasive products needed, thanks to uniform three-dimensional abrasive structures that eliminate disc-to-disc variation. The aluminum oxide abrasive provides a tough and durable cut rate favored by industrial professionals. The product includes a warranty covering defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase.
