The Scotch-Brite™ finishing flap brush is designed with sections of non-woven material that are slit lengthwise and bonded to a cylindrical core, providing a long-lasting tool for improved consistency and greater control over critical prep and finishing tasks. This brush is ideal for polishing and aesthetic finishing, including achieving brushed finishes on materials such as copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals. It features soft density along with medium, fine, and very fine abrasive grades that produce brushed surfaces without the need for compounds, while offering more surface contact than traditional bristle-type brushes. The non-woven web is resistant to loading and heat, allowing for effective finishing results across various materials. It is capable of achieving decorative finishes on metal, wood, and composites. The brush is suitable for a range of applications including blending, contour finishing, deburring, flat areas, flat finishing, and polishing.
