The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ EXL unitized wheel TR measures 2 inches in diameter with NH CRS grit aluminum oxide abrasive material. It is designed for edge deburring and finishing in various metalworking applications and machined parts requiring close tolerances. The wheel features a compressed, non-woven fiber construction with uniform grain distribution, providing consistent professional results for weld polishing, deburring aircraft parts, and blending or finishing metals, plastics, and composites. EXL material is available in higher densities for aggressive cutting power to deburr edges and corners effectively without damaging parts, while lower densities offer softness and conformability for finishing contoured surfaces. The disc includes the 3M™ Roloc™ quick release system for rapid, tool-free disc changes, allowing use of both the edge and surface without removing mounting hardware. Available grades are fine, medium, and coarse. The Roloc system permits secure attachment suitable for heavy-duty applications and facilitates quick swapping between tasks or multi-step finishing processes. The non-woven nylon or synthetic fiber construction incorporates abrasives into an open-web material that runs cool, minimizing the risk of part discoloration and warping, while fibers resist loading to maintain abrasive effectiveness.
