The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ finishing flap brush measures 6" x 1" x 2" and features a fine grit aluminum oxide abrasive. It is constructed from sections of non-woven material slit lengthwise and bonded to a cylindrical core. This long-lasting brush provides improved consistency and greater control for critical prep and finishing tasks, including polishing and aesthetic finishing such as brushed finishes on copper, brass, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals. The brush's soft density and medium/fine/very fine abrasive grades produce brushed surfaces without the need for compounds, offering more surface contact than bristle-type brushes. It continuously supplies fresh abrasives for consistent, uniform finishes. The non-woven web is load and heat resistant, enabling fine finishing results on a variety of materials, achieving decorative finishes on metal, wood, and composites. Applications include blending, contour finishing, deburring, flat area finishing, flat finishing, and polishing. Warranty terms apply as specified by the manufacturer.
