The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ paper disc 732U measures 5" in diameter with a NH (non-hole) design and features 120 grit ceramic aluminum oxide abrasive made from 3M precision shaped triangular ceramic grain, which slices through substrates for cutting performance up to 2 times faster and lasting up to 4 times longer than conventional abrasives. The disc has a C-weight paper backing suitable for sanding applications where edge retention is not critical and is effective on metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. It is designed for orbital sanding applications such as cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, furniture, and primary wood and panel processing. These Hookit™ discs use hook-and-loop attachment to backup pads (sold separately), allowing clean removal and reuse for the life of the abrasive and are preferred where adhesive backed Stikit™ discs may be too aggressive or at risk of contamination by dust or dirt. For optimal results, it is recommended to use these discs with 3M™ Elite random orbital sanders.
