The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ paper disc 732U measures 5" in diameter with NH attachment and features 220 grit ceramic aluminum oxide. It incorporates 3M precision shaped ceramic grain, a triangular shaped ceramic mineral designed to slice through substrates rather than gouging, which enables the disc to cut up to 2 times faster and last up to 4 times longer than conventional abrasives. The disc is ideal for a broad range of applications primarily focused on stock removal and works effectively on metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. It uses a C-weight paper backing suited for sanding tasks where edge retention is not critical. The Stikit™ system includes a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside of the disc, allowing easy attachment and removal from the Stikit™ backup pad, which must be pressed onto the pad attached to a compatible disc sander, random orbital sander, or stationary disc sander (pads sold separately). Recommended for AOEM finish prep and repair, defect repair and leveling, finishing, orbital sanding, and paint or lacquer sanding, it is widely used in cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, and furniture industries.
