The 3M™ PSA cloth disc 348D is a heavy-duty 20" sanding disc with P100 grit aluminum oxide abrasive designed for high heat and heavy-duty sanding applications. It features a high-strength pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing that adheres securely to a backup pad or steel platen for efficient application and clean removal. The disc is constructed with a heat-resistant resin bond and cloth backing, ensuring durability and stability under high heat and pressure conditions. The aluminum oxide abrasive is closed coat, offering a fast cut for grinding and dual action (D/A) sanding on metal. This versatile disc is suitable for deburring, blending, cleaning up, and finishing metal parts and surfaces of various sizes and shapes. It is compatible with backup pads attached to disc sanders, random orbital sanders, or stationary disc sanders.
