3M™ disc pad holders are designed for the quick and easy change of Scotch-Brite™ abrasive discs during multi-step projects. These holders come in various sizes, foam densities, and attachment options to suit different grinding and sanding needs. Each holder features a center hole with internal threads, allowing you to choose the appropriate thread size that matches the external thread size of your right angle grinder. T-shaped hooks securely hold surface conditioning discs, facilitating quick attachment, removal, and re-attachment. The hook-and-loop feature allows the discs to be reused throughout their abrasive life; however, discs are sold separately. The Scotch-Brite™ surface conditioning discs and light grinding/blending products (also sold separately) are effective for deburring, cleaning, blending, and finishing a wide range of materials. Utilizing surface conditioning products with a 3M disc pad holder produces finishes suitable for paint applications. This equipment is applicable in various industries, including builders hardware, medical instruments, metal fabrication, metal implants, plating and polishing, plumbing fixtures, and turbine engines.
