The 3M™ Stikit™ low profile disc pad is designed to provide a secure attachment for 3M™ Stikit™ discs (sold separately) on a random orbital sander or other rotary tool. This lightweight and shock-resistant backup pad is constructed of firm density foam, ideal for sanding flat surfaces, and features a tapered edge for applications requiring some flexibility. The 3M™ Stikit™ system allows for convenient disc changes between different grades or applications, with Stikit™ discs coming ready to use with a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating on the backside for easy attachment, similar to applying a sticker, while ensuring clean removal from the disc pad. The Stikit discs offer a more aggressive cut compared to 3M™ Hookit™ products. This product is applicable in various industries, including aerospace, AOEM, composite, cutting tool manufacturing, general industrial, metalworking, MRO, paint preparation, primary metal, transportation and heavy equipment, and woodworking.
