The 3M™ PSA cloth disc 348D measures 1" in diameter with an NH attachment and features P120 grit aluminum oxide abrasive in a closed coat configuration. This heavy-duty sanding disc includes a high-strength pressure sensitive adhesive backing that adheres securely to backup pads or steel platens for efficient application and clean removal. It is constructed with a heat-resistant resin bond and cloth backing to withstand high heat and heavy-duty sanding operations. The aluminum oxide abrasive offers a fast cut, durable performance for grinding, sanding, deburring, blending, cleaning, and finishing metal parts and surfaces of various sizes and shapes. Suitable for use on metal and woodworking materials including ferrous alloys, the disc is compatible with disc sanders, random orbital sanders, and stationary disc sanders when pressed onto separately sold backup pads. The disc’s heat-resistant resin binding agent maintains bond stability under high heat or pressure, supporting consistent abrasive performance. Typical applications include blending, deburring, flat area sanding, grinding, orbital sanding, and metal fabrication.
