It features a high-strength pressure-sensitive adhesive backing that securely adheres to a backup pad or steel platen for clean removal and efficient application. The disc is constructed with a heat-resistant resin bond and durable cloth backing, making it suitable for high-heat and heavy-duty sanding applications. The aluminum oxide particles are arranged in a closed coat to provide fast cutting and long-lasting performance, as the abrasive self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges during use.
