The SpillTech® overpack is designed for effective emergency spill response and can also function as a salvage drum for shipping damaged containers or hazardous waste. It is DOT-approved and X-rated for use as salvage drums, ensuring compliance with federal regulations when transporting damaged or leaking containers of hazardous materials, as well as sorbent materials contaminated with hazardous substances. This overpack is ideal for storing sorbent products (not included), providing easy access for spill control and facilitating quick response when necessary. Constructed from 100% polyethylene, it resists chemicals, rust, and corrosion, ensuring durability over years of use. The integrated handles enable easy lifting and movement with standard material handling equipment, while the twist-on, double-wall lid with closed-cell gasket offers a sealed closure to prevent leaks and protect contents from moisture, dirt, and damage. The overpack is customized to meet specific needs, including the container, its contents, and accessories.
