The SpillTech® overpack is designed for emergency spill response and as a salvage drum for shipping damaged containers or hazardous waste. This tough, UN rated overpack is built to withstand rough handling and is X-rated for packing groups I, II, and III, making it suitable for regulated packaging applications, including land, sea, or rail transport of hazardous waste. Made from polypropylene with UV inhibitors, it is durable, lightweight, and chemical-resistant. The containers are nestable when empty to maximize storage efficiency and are specifically designed for leaking cans, bottles, or 5-gallon pails. The overpack features a leakproof, twist-on lid that is notched for easy tightening using a 2x4 or pole, and integrated ledges and handles molded into the container facilitate movement with a forklift or by hand.
