LabExact 934-AH® glass microfiber filters are constructed from 100% borosilicate glass microfiber and feature fine porosity with a fast flow rate, providing a particle retention size of 1.5 µm. This product complies with the standards for suspended solids content and related measurements, specifically Standard Methods 2540D and EPA Method 160.2. The filters are extensively utilized in applications such as cell harvesting and RIA scintillation counting. The binderless borosilicate glass microfiber allows for operation at temperatures up to 550°C. The depth filtration process effectively traps particulates within the random matrix of fibers, making these filters suitable for both single and multi-process removal of sediment and coarse particulates. They serve as an ideal medium for sediment entrapment for further analysis and counting due to their inert matrix. Additionally, depth filtration media are often employed for prefiltration before surface filtration using membranes. Each package contains 100 filters.
