Disposable non-sterile PVDF hydrophobic filtration media syringe filters are designed with Luer-Lok™ and pressure fitting for secure connections. These filters are ultrasonically bonded to ensure reliability, and the type of filter media is clearly inscribed on the barrel for easy identification. They provide excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency. The unique concentric funnel-shaped barrel design increases volume while decreasing back pressure. The membrane exhibits stability and hydrophobic interactions similar to PTFE, making it particularly recommended for the filtration of water-soluble oligomers and polymers, such as protein solutions. These syringe filters can also effectively filter hydrophobic substances in various organic solvents. Each package contains 100 filters.
