Grade TSS is a binderless high efficiency (HEPA type) filter medium featuring a particle retention size of 1.50 µm, specifically designed for liquid filtration in accordance with EPA methods 2540C and 2540D for testing dissolved and suspended solids in water and wastewater. It offers a high flow rate with significant capacity, made from binderless borosilicate glass fiber media that contains no added extractables, effectively minimizing sample contamination. The filter medium possesses excellent wet strength and is suitable for various applications, including gravimetric analysis of air pollutants, membrane support pads, membrane prefilters, clarification of reagent and buffer solutions, filtration of eluent for HPLC, and moisture analysis pads.
