The Grade C fine porosity filters feature a fast flow rate with a 1.2 µm size particle retention, making them primarily suitable for RIA procedures and harvesting lymphocytes. These glass microfiber filters are produced from 100% borosilicate glass microfiber, free from binders or strengthening agents. The depth filtration process categorizes the filter media, which traps particulate matter within the random matrix of fibers situated in the thickness of the media. The efficiency rating of the filter is characterized by the complex void space structure developed through overlapping fibers, which are smooth and uniform. This design enables high flow rates alongside the retention of exceptionally small particles and a high load capacity. The filters are sold in a package quantity of 100.
