Grade TSS is a binderless high-efficiency (HEPA type) filter medium designed for particle retention of 1.50 μm. It is specifically engineered for liquid filtration in compliance with EPA methods 2540C and 2540D, which are used for testing dissolved and suspended solids in water and wastewater. This filter medium features a high flow rate and high capacity, utilizing binderless borosilicate glass fiber media that contains no added extractables, thereby reducing the risk of sample contamination. It demonstrates excellent wet strength and is suitable for various applications, including gravimetric analysis of air pollutants, membrane support pads, membrane prefilters, clarification of reagent and buffer solutions, filtration of eluent for HPLC, and moisture analysis pads. The product is sold in a package quantity of 100 and is designed to meet rigorous technical specifications.
