Disposable non-sterile nylon/polyamide filtration media syringe filters feature Luer-Lok™ and pressure fitting, are ultrasonically bonded for reliability, and have the filter media type clearly inscribed on the barrel. They offer excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency. The unique concentric funnel-shaped barrel increases volume and decreases back pressure. Hydrophilic material is recommended for filtration of aqueous or organic/aqueous medium polar liquids. These filters are commonly used for general laboratory filtration and for the filtration of HPLC and GC samples prior to injection. They are suitable for filtering aqueous and organic-aqueous polar medium liquids and for dissolution sample analysis, as well as for use with high pH samples. However, due to their ability to bind proteins, they are not suitable for protein recovery applications. The filters are sold in a package quantity of 100.
