Disposable non-sterile nylon/polyamide filtration media syringe filters are designed with Luer-Lok™ and pressure fitting and are ultrasonically bonded for enhanced reliability. Each filter features a clearly inscribed filter media type on the barrel, ensuring excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency. The unique concentric funnel-shaped barrel increases volume while decreasing back pressure. These filters utilize hydrophilic material, making them suitable for the filtration of aqueous and organic/aqueous polar liquids, and are commonly employed for general laboratory filtration and the filtration of HPLC and GC samples prior to injection. They can also be used for the filtration of aqueous and organic-aqueous polar medium liquids and dissolution sample analysis, as well as high pH samples. However, due to their protein-binding properties, they are not recommended for protein recovery applications. The filters are sold in a package quantity of 100.
