Disposable non-sterile glass fiber filtration media syringe filters feature Luer-Lok™ and pressure fitting, ensuring reliable performance due to their ultrasonic bonding. The filter media type is clearly inscribed on the barrel for easy identification, providing excellent unit-to-unit and lot-to-lot reproducibility and consistency. The syringe filter design includes a unique concentric funnel-shaped barrel that increases volume and decreases back pressure. These filters utilize binderless glass microfiber filter media with a retention of 1.0µm, making them suitable for use with viscous solutions or turbid liquids, or as a prefilter in series with other syringe filters to reduce clogging of the membrane, thereby increasing throughput and flow rate. They are ideal for dissolution testing and general filtration, and exhibit good compatibility with strong acids, bases, and organic solvents. The filters are sold in a package quantity of 100.
