Grade E fine porosity filter media offers a fast flow rate with a 1.5 µm particle retention size, making it an economical choice for suspended particle analysis in water, cell harvesting, pre-filtration, and air monitoring applications. These glass microfiber filters are produced from 100% borosilicate glass microfiber without the use of binders or strengthening agents. The depth filtration process categorizes this filter media, trapping particulate within the random matrix of fibers found within the thickness of the media. The filter's efficiency rating is a result of the complex void space structure that develops from the overlapping fibers, which are smooth and uniform. This unique construction allows for characteristically high flow rates while retaining exceptionally small particles and providing a high load capacity.
