The general-purpose capacitor start-capacitor run motor features a power rating of 10 HP and operates at 3515 RPM, housed in a drip-proof (DP) enclosure designed for environments that are reasonably dry and clean. This motor has a 215 frame, rigid mount design, and operates on 208-230V, 1-phase, 60Hz power with nameplate amps ranging from 41.5 to 37. It is suitable for continuous duty operation with a service factor of 1.15 and does not include thermal protection. The efficiency rating is 88.5 with a standard efficiency type, and it is rated for ambient temperatures up to 40°C with selective CCW rotation. The shaft measures 3 inches in length and has a diameter of 1 3/8 inches. The DP enclosure includes vents in the end shield and/or frame to prevent liquid from entering the motor within a 15-degree angle from vertical. For outdoor installations, it is advised to use a cover that allows adequate airflow. The rigid base enables secure mounting on equipment.
