The Leeson 3-phase, totally enclosed fan cooled motor operates at 1/3 HP with a rigid or resilient base and is designed for long-lasting durability and dependability. This 1/3 horsepower motor runs at 1725 RPM and features a totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) enclosure that prevents the free exchange of air due to the absence of vent openings, while an external fan ensures proper cooling by blowing air around the motor's outer frame. It is suitable for environments exposed to dirt or dampness, but not for very moist or hazardous (explosive) locations.
