The motor lacks thermal protection and has a standard efficiency rating of 81, applicable in ambient temperatures up to 40°C. The motor supports selective counterclockwise rotation and has a shaft diameter of 1 1/8 inches. The TEFC enclosure is designed without vent openings to prevent air exchange, while an external fan cools the motor by circulating air around its frame, making it suitable for environments exposed to dirt or dampness, though not for very moist or hazardous locations.
