The general purpose, capacitor start-capacitor run motor features a 1.5 HP power rating and operates at 1740 RPM with a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure designed to prevent the free exchange of air while allowing external cooling via an integral fan. It has a 145 frame and a rigid C mount, accepting input voltages of 115/208-230V, operating on single-phase (1Ph) at 60Hz. The motor has nameplate amps of 17.2/8.8-8.6, offers continuous duty with a service factor of 1.0, and has a standard efficiency rating of 79, suitable for ambient temperatures up to 40 C. The motor allows for selective counterclockwise (CCW) rotation and features a shaft diameter of 7/8". This motor is suitable for applications exposed to dirt or dampness but is not recommended for very moist or hazardous (explosive) locations. It is compatible with GRAINGER part number 1K082 and MARATHON part number C281.
