It is constructed with a 184 frame and a rigid C mount, capable of running on either 115/230V, single-phase, 60Hz electrical supply, with nameplate amps of 33.8/16.9. This motor is designed for continuous duty with a service factor of 1.15, includes manual thermal protection, and has a standard efficiency of 75.5, optimized for ambient temperatures up to 40 C. It supports selective counter-clockwise rotation, with a shaft length of 2-1/4 inches and a shaft diameter of 1 1/8 inches. The drip-proof enclosure incorporates vents in the end shield and/or frame to prevent liquid droplets from entering the motor within a 15-degree angle from vertical, making it suitable for use in relatively dry, clean, and well-ventilated areas, with recommendations to use a protective cover when installed outdoors to maintain airflow.
