The HSM hard drive and media shredder is designed for the destruction of hard drives, credit/store cards, CDs/DVDs, floppy disks, USB sticks, solid state drives, backup media, cell phones, poker chips, and magnetic tapes up to 3.5". This machine is capable of shredding up to 1,250 hard drives per hour and features a compact, modern design with a convenient working height. The cutting rollers and closed direct drive are made of hardened solid steel to ensure durability. It includes an integrated hour meter and provides notifications for bin full and shut off, as well as a low power consumption energy savings mode that activates after 5 minutes of idle operation. The power train exhibits energy efficiency in excess of 88% in accordance with class IE3 and standard IEC60034/30. The shredder operates quietly due to a powerful, energy-saving power unit and includes safety features such as access panels protected by safety interlock switches. It has various function modes for different material types, and an auto-reverse feature eliminates material jams while providing a multifunction element for intuitive operation. Mobility is facilitated by castors, and it comes with a removable waste container for easy emptying. The security levels are rated T-1, E-2, and H-3. The machine includes a 2-year warranty, with 90 days on labor, and is made in Germany.
