Made in the USA, Nordfab duct elbows, also known as bends, enable the change of airflow direction in a duct line. Standard Nordfab Quick-Fit elbows come in angles of 90°, 60°, 45°, and 30°, and are available in galvanized or stainless steel (specify if stainless steel is preferred), featuring quick-fit rolled ends. The galvanized QF elbows in sizes 3" to 7" are constructed from press-formed halves that are stitch welded together, while sizes 8" to 24" are segmented (gored). Stainless steel QF elbows in sizes 3" to 6" are tubed, and heavier gauge elbows can be provided as solid welded constructions for an additional cost. Additional options are available, including longer radiuses and 16-gauge materials. For high-abrasion or high-wear areas within the duct line, Nordfab XD elbows in 14-gauge or 12-gauge are offered to help minimize the frequency and cost of replacements. The Quick-Fit ductwork features rolled edges for easy connection with barrel-type clamps, a specially designed gasket for a tight seal, and an adjustable nipple that simplifies installation without the need for precise measurements. The installation process is quick and efficient, as no rivets, screws, or welding are required, reducing installation time and downtime by over 45% compared to traditional flanged ductwork. Additionally, the Quick-Fit system allows for easy uninstallation and relocation, as well as straightforward cleaning and re-installation without the need for tools.
